  • Explain and compare key welding processes and technologies
  • Prepare materials/design welded joints to requirements
  • Identify/understand welding discontinuities and causes
  • Evaluate/select/tailor welding procedures for applications
  • Develop quality-control measures for compliance
  • Apply safe welding practices for preparation/performance
  • Recognize hazards and choose correct PPE
  • Duration: 24 hours 8 hrs theory 14 hrs practical 2 hrs assessment
  • Certification: Statement of Attainment (Upon completion)
  • Eligibility: Open to all skill levels

Certification Statement of Attainment

Upon successful completion, trainees receive a Statement of Attainment recognized by industry partners. The certification validates your welding skills and safety knowledge.

Requirements Mandatory

  • Age ≥ 18 Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
  • Safety Awareness Solid understanding of safety risks and precautions.
  • Instruction Skills Able to read and apply instructions, diagrams, and manuals.
  • Hands-on Familiarity Familiarity with welding equipment, materials, and tools.
  • Physical Fitness Sufficient physical fitness for practical tasks.
  • English (ESS Level 2) English skills at ESS Level 2 or above.
  • Numeracy (ESS Level 2) Numerical skills at ESS Level 2 or above.
  • English Course is conducted in English.
